Here’s where you can find out which issues of Pacific Horticulture have featured articles about outstanding plants for your region, public gardens in the city you’ll be visiting on your next vacation, ideas for adding interest to your own garden, people who’ve made significant contributions to West Coast horticulture, and much more. This page offers three ways to search for the articles.
First, you might search for a specific article from any issue since 1976 by typing its title or its author’s name into the search field below.
Second, if you know the year in which a particular article appeared, you can browse by year and issue.
Third is a downloadable PDF file containing the published Index 1996-2000 (volumes 57–61). This Index contains a complete list of authors, books reviewed, and topics presented during those five years. (An Index for the next five years will be appearing soon on this website.)
You can purchase bound copies of Index 1976-1995 (volume 37–56) and Index 1996-2000 (volume 57–61) by calling Pacific Horticulture’s business office at 510-849-1627.
(We’re sorry, but indexes are not available for volumes 1–36; visit your local horticultural library for those issues, which were published as Journal of the California Horticultural Society or California Horticultural Journal.)
