Gardening Under Mediterranean Skies VI: California!

Pacific Horticulture is pleased to present the sixth in the series of symposia exploring the opportunities and constraints of garden-making in California’s version of a mediterranean climate. This one-day symposium will include presentations on the landscape and flora of California, the history of gardens in the state, issues challenging garden makers today, and garden jewels from the state’s flora. Complementing these programs will be an afternoon tour of local gardens demonstrating a clear response to the region’s climate.
Pacific Horticulture brings this popular symposium to the historic town of Monterey, in association with the Annual General Meeting of the Mediterranean Gardening Society, to be held on October 9-12. Join gardeners from around the world for this engaging program. Registrations will be limited.
