Yoga for Gardeners
Preventing & Minimizing Gardening Injuries
Wednesday February 3rd at 4:00 pm
Gardening is heaven for the soul but can wreck havoc on the body! Becoming more flexible, strong, relaxed aware of body mechanics and fully 'present' in body and mind will enable the gardening enthusiast to pursue his or her passion while minimizing the chance for injury. Gail will discuss the yoga-gardening connection, body mechanics, garden ergonomics, and present basic garden-specific yoga stretching and strengthening postures for optional audience participation.
