Masanari Ikuma with Kelli Hudspeth
Owner & botanical artist, Sweet Floral Gardens
Ikuma is a self-taught Japanese Botanical Artist and the owner of Sweet Floral Garden & Nursery. His inspiration began over ten years ago as he watched some of the conifer trees brown in the center and wanted an alternative to keep the beauty of the tree. His solution was to create one-of-a-kind topiary and spiral art. Since 1990 his company has grown and sold locally the Wilma Tree and is the patent holder for the Emerald Crest Tree, a unique two-colored tree that has the lemon verbena scent of the Wilma.
