Patty Glick

Educator for National Wildlife Foundation

Patty Glick is Senior Global Warming Specialist for the National Wildlife Federation (NWF).  She has been dedicated to the issue of climate change for more than 18 years and has played an important role in educating a diverse constituency of Americans about the issue, as well as developing and promoting meaningful policy solutions.  For the past eleven years Ms. Glick has been instrumental in helping NWF build a targeted grassroots global warming campaign.  Much of her work has focused on translating the science of global warming into creative and understandable outreach tools, including the award-winning Gardener's Guide to Global Warming (NWF, 2007) which was featured by Val Easton in the Seattle Times' Pacific Northwest magazine. She has led major research studies and participated in governor-appointed working groups to develop state-based climate change adaption strategies.  In 2007 she was one of 23 women around the world named as "An outstanding woman working on climate change issues" by The World Conservation Union and was recognized by The Wildlife Society as "Today's Wildlife Professional" in The Wildlife Professional, Fall 2008.  Visit the National Wildlife Foundation show booth # 2816.  Website:  www.nwf.org
