This community education program on edible gardening is a day-long festival, filled with activities for the whole family. Discover how to PLAN, CULTIVATE, HARVEST, and PRESERVE your edible garden!

“A Garden for All Seasons — Edibles” includes:

Two keynote presentations by:

  • Leslie Bennett and Stefani Bittner, owners of Star Apple Edible + Fine Gardening and authors of The Beautiful Edible Garden
  • Claire Splan, author of California Fruit & Vegetable Gardening

“Table Talks” by Marin Master Gardeners on designing, planting, cultivating, and preserving

Gardening demonstrations and hands-on activities

A presentation by Merrilee Olson, founder of PreserveSonoma, on preserving the edible bounty

Personalized edible garden planning consultations

Demonstrations and talks on heirloom chickens and chicken coops

Beekeeping demonstrations

Garden product vendors and book sellers

Local and organically grown foods and refreshments. Or bring a picnic.
