Arboretum and CNPS Plant Sale

In partnership with the California Native Plant Society (CNPS), the Arboretum’s Spring 2017 Plant Sale will offer quality, regionally-friendly plants from both groups at great prices.  Knowledgeable Arboretum staff will be on hand to assist customers with their plant selections.

A popular new addition introduced last fall was “Valet Wheelbarrow Service” to assist shoppers in transporting their purchased plants to the parking area.

Many of the featured plants attract birds, particularly hummingbirds, and most of these can’t be found at local nurseries or elsewhere in the state. Gardening experts are always available to answer questions about the plants and offer advice to ensure they thrive. Food and beverages can be purchased as well.

You will find plenty of California natives and unique varieties found no other place. Arboretum experts will be on hand to help you find plants right for your gardens that will save water, attract wildlife and look beautiful in your garden. If you are considering replacing a lawn with an attractive low maintenance/low water usage landscape, come to the sale for plant suggestions and growing advice.

Cost:  Arboretum Admission $5.00
