Color All Around: Botanical Dyes

In this workshop, led by RSABG design specialist, David Bryant, and botany graduate student, Sophia Winitsky, learn how to dye animal-fiber fabrics using California native and non-native plants, and the diversity of gorgeous hues that one can create from any particular plant!  Discover the colors of both native and invasive dye plants and best practices for harvesting and using these remarkable hues.
Please bring a small piece of clothing (beanies, scarf, socks, for example), cloth, or yarn of 100% animal fibers (wool, alpaca) to dye and take home!Cost: Members $30; Non-Members $35
