Fall Pruning and Tree Risk Assessment Workshop

Lakewold Gardens invites you to a Fall Pruning workshop on October 15th, free to attend and open to the general public. Presenter Dennis Tompkins, a Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessor, will help us understand the type of pruning that safe to accomplish during the autumn season. Each workshop participant will have the opportunity to practice in the field with a mentor. This complimentary class is part of Lakewold’s “Learn in the Garden” series, which combines instruction with hands-on learning.

About the presenter: Dennis Tompkins served as Editor of “The American Christmas Tree Journal” for 19 years. In 2007, he was named Arborist of the Year by the Pacific NW Chapter of the International Society of Aboriculture.
