If you are not a fan of ferns, Sue Olsen’s infectious and informative class will convert you. Learn that they don’t all look alike. Sue has been studying, photographing, and writing about ferns for more than four decades. Her nursery, Foliage Gardens, has introduced numerous ferns to horticulture.
Sue is a founding member of the Hardy Fern Foundation and author of Encyclopedia of Garden Ferns. After her slide presentation, she will lead a tour of BBG’s Rhododendron Glen where over 750 ferns are planted and maintained by the Hardy Fern Foundation.
