Garden Conservancy Open Day – Mendocino

Explore five gardens open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. Highlights include Kate Frey’s sustainable habitat garden that supports a variety of insects and birds, the elaborately planted display gardens of Digging Dog Nursery, a sunken garden filled with unexpected plants, a potager with extensive market gardens, and a garden with plants that have proven worthy from the border to the table.

Kate Frey will be signing copies of her new book “The Bee-Friendly Garden: Design an Abundant, Flower-Filled Yard that Nurtures Bees and Supports Biodiversity,” at her garden in Hopland.
