Growing Tomatoes in the Pacific NW

This class covers all aspects of growing tomatoes in our challenging short season climate – starting from seed, selecting and preparing garden space or containers, good varieties to grow, planting and aftercare, common problems and solutions, and harvesting tips. The information is comprehensive and is appropriate for any level of gardener who is interested in growing tomatoes. Marcia Dillon, the instructor, volunteers at the Bellevue Demonstration Garden where she manages the tomato beds and grows all of the tomato starts for the BDG spring plant sale.
