Explore four private gardens in Belvedere, San Rafael, and Tiburon, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. Highlights include a series of stone paved terraces linked by curvilinear stone walls and stairways, a secret pollinator garden, views of Angel Island and the San Francisco Bay, parterres of lavender, dwarf olive, and boxwood, as well as large masses of plants in geometric forms. Admission to each garden is $5 (children under 12 free); no reservations required; rain or shine. For more information, visit www.opendaysprogram.org or call us toll-free at 1-888-842-2442.
