The SF Bay Area’s only rhododendron show – from 100 foot Himalayan trees with 2 foot leaves to alpine miniatures. All colors from white to orange to purple. Some with 6″ fragrant flowers. Unusual and rare varieties on display. Both the rhododendron garden and Oakland’s renowned tropical vireya garden will be open to the public. Experts on hand to answer questions on ecology and culture. Vireya rhododendrons from Hawaii will be available for purchase.
