Spring Garden and Market Sale

Join the UC Master Gardeners for our 23rd annual Spring Garden Market (SGM), our premier plant sale, sustainable gardening showcase and vendor fair, at beautiful History Park San Jose.  Please bring a box, cart, or wagon for an easier shopping experience. No dogs except service dogs.

Choose from our huge variety of tomato, pepper, herb, and flower seedlings and succulents that we raise right here in Santa Clara Valley. We grow varieties not readily available elsewhere, selected for outstanding taste, beauty, and performance in our soil and climate.

Join us for 45-minute talks by UC Master Gardeners throughout the day, from tips on growing great tomatoes to gardening in a drought. Schedule of talks

Whatever you call it, a garage sale, a rummage sale, or a re-purposing event, our Green Elephant Sale is  a great opportunity to pick up gently used tools, pots, books, trellises and more at bargain prices while benefiting the UC Master Gardener program.

Get your gardening questions answered by UC Master Gardeners at our Information Tables. Bring plants samples to our Hotline LIVE! table for diagnosis, learn about waterwise plants, animal pest control, tool care, and more.

Lining Main Street will be 40+ booths ranging from plant nurseries, gardening societies, urban farmers, beekeepers and conservation groups to vendors of containers and raised beds, apparel, mosaics and even chicken coops. List of vendors

The Spring Garden Market is a fundraiser to benefit the UC Master Gardener Program of Santa Clara County. We are pleased to have History Park San Jose and the San Jose Mercury News as supporters of our Market.
