Pacific Horticulture’s dynamic tour of public and private gardens in the Windy City begins at Frontera Grill, owned by award-wining chef, cookbook author, and television host Rick Bayless. The next day, a tour of the restaurant’s Bucktown neighborhood organic garden with its outdoor kitchen, raised beds and container plantings, and efficient composting system, promises to provide both inspiration and hardworking ideas for creating beautiful, productive gardens.

Cultural highlights include museum visits and a cruise on the Chicago River featuring historical and architecturally significant sites.
