Become inspired through learning from keynote speaker Patrick Cullina, whose vision and leadership led to one of the world’s most innovative urban gardens, New York City’s Highline Park.

Featured speakers in this day-long seminar include:

Karla Dakin: Near and Far, New Designs in the Green Roof World.
With glorious examples from across the globe, she highlights divergent trends and daring creativity in green roofs from Vancouver to Dublin to Dahka.

Lorene Edwards Forkner: Designing with Nature, Planting for Pollinators.
Craft a nature friendly, design-driven landscape where humans, plants, insects, birds, and animals amicably co-exist.

Evelyn Hadden: Hellstrip Gardening.
These small, seemingly meaningless places between sidewalk and street, can change a home, a neighborhood and even a community.

Seminar moderators are Portland garden designers Lucy Hardiman and Bob Hyland. Plant talks by Sean Hogan of Cistus Nursery and Maurice Horn of Joy Creek Nursery.

Post seminar enjoy a wine reception at Xera Plants / Contained Exuberance.

This seminar is co-sponsored by the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon (HPSO).
